VISA REQUIREMENTS Students who plan to study for a period of 6 months or less do not need a “Student Authorization” to come to Canada. For many students, only a passport is necessary. Others may need to obtain a “Visitor’s Visa” before traveling to Canada.
Visiting students may choose to study full time or part time.
Students on a "Sudent Authorization" must attend school for at least 24 hours a week.
To register
for courses longer than 6 months, you must apply for a “Student
Authorization” at a Canadian Consulate in your country. In order to
pre-register and receive a letter of acceptance, please print and send
your Registration
Form with a non-refundable deposit of Can$300.00 (Money order or Credit Card number). You may also register online by using the Online Registration Form and suppling the credit card information. Please apply early as the application process could take up to three months to complete.

If you are applying from outside of Canada, please apply early to allow enough time to process your application and obtain your student visa. Processing times for student visas vary from country to country. Once you receive your letter of acceptance from us, you should take it to the Canadian Embassy or Consulate and apply for your student visa.
Please arrange health insurance for the duration of your stay in Canada before leaving your country. Bring proof of health insurance with you when you come to the school to complete your registration. It is also possible to purchase health insurance within the first FIVE DAYS of arrival in Canada.
When your Student Authorization has been approved, you will receive documentation from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. You must bring that documentation with you to Canada when you come.
If you require homestay, we will be corresponding with you to arrange your homestay at least one month prior to your arrival date.
Once you have settled into your Homestay, please come to the school to complete your registration and take your placement test. We will assess your language skills and tell you the level you will begin in and introduce you to your teachers and classmates.
